‘HELP!’ Course for parents of children with dyslexia
One of the greatest influences on children's success at school is the involvement of parents in their education. When a child has a specific learning difficulty like dyslexia this involvement is even more crucial. Many children who find learning difficult can get frustrated and demotivated which may lead to low self-esteem.
The ‘Hints, Encouragement and Liaison for Parents’ course runs for three Monday mornings and will help to demystify dyslexia, give practical ideas and strategies to help support your child and guide you on the best way to talk to and liaise with the professionals in your child’s life.
Led by professional staff from Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity, this popular course will be held in Sarum College in central Salisbury on 27th April, 4th May & 11th May 2020.
