St Teresa’s seeks to appoint a fixed term, part-time Specialist Teaching Assistant to help and support a pupil with Dyslexia in Year 6 at our Prep School. This role is initially for one year from September 2020 until the end of Year 6 (2nd July 2021). The role presents an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to further their 1-1 teaching and learning experiences to understand how their role can work symbiotically within a dynamic school environment. The successful candidate will be required to teach the student on a 1:1 basis and provide support in class; they should hold a Level 5 Certificate in SpLD., or equivalent. This innovative individual must be keen to work as part of an enthusiastic team of teachers and support staff and be passionate about children’s learning.
