Dyslexia Friendly Study Skills (that are good for all students)
Sarah J Myhill will be sharing her tried and tested, evidenced-based, study skill strategies which are visual and tailored to dyslexic students’ needs, encouraging them to learn how to work smarter, develop mind mapping, memory and concentration techniques and improve reading and writing skills.
She will explore the importance of working with dyslexic students’ strengths and the positive impact that tailored learning can have on a student both academically and personally, boosting confidence and motivation.

About Sarah J Myhill
Sarah J Myhill is a Specialist Dyslexia Tutor and Lecturer at the University of Buckingham, the author of Be a Brilliant Dyslexic Student with Sage Publishing and a qualified Mindfulness Now teacher. Originally a qualified architect and lighting designer, some vision difficulties led to a new career and Sarah achieved a post-graduate qualification in dyslexia in higher education in 2016. She holds Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA FE/HE) and Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE).
Bringing her creativity and visual training as an architect to bear on her current role has helped her develop visual and dynamic, evidenced-based study skill strategies that really work to help students achieve their best academically.
