We have sessions during the Easter holiday to help students consolidate their skills. Each 60-minute session will be on a one-to-one basis and will be delivered by an experienced specialist teacher. Book one session or more – whatever your child needs.

Please note that these sessions are not designed to teach students particular subject knowledge, they are to improve skills that will benefit students across various subjects. Lesson content will be planned according to each student’s individual needs. Topics covered could include:

1. Basic literacy skills
2. Reading accuracy
3. Reading comprehension
4. Spelling
5. Writing skills
6. Proof reading
7. Organisation
8. Memory strategies
9. Learning preferences
10. Revision techniques
11. Listening skill

Cancellation Policy

The following terms apply to all registrations:

Included in the price is a booking fee of £30.  This is not refundable unless the course is cancelled by Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity.

No fee will be refunded if we receive less than one month’s notice of cancellation

• 50% of the course fee paid, less the booking fee, will be refunded for cancellations made more than one month before the course date
• Please note that course fees are non-transferable.
