Hazel became Head of Fundraising in September 2021 having joined the HA team in April 2018 as Fundraising and Communications Officer. She previously worked for a local youth homelessness charity and a horticultural therapy charity.

Before this, Hazel worked in event management, initially for a private company organising British Pavilions at overseas trade exhibitions and then as an Operations Manager for the Royal Horticultural Society Shows Department.

A member of Hazel’s family received a dyslexia diagnosis from HADC, and she is proud to now be part of a team helping people of all ages realise their potential.
