Helen joined the Helen Arkell team in September 2020 as PR and Communications Officer. She manages the charity’s web content, social media and PR alongside Hazel, our Head of Fundraising.

Helen has a background in charity communications having been an editor at Girlguiding for almost 20 years. Before joining Helen Arkell, she was a freelance copywriter.

Helen enjoys walking her dog, reading and baking and has found that this last hobby is much appreciated at the centre.
