Fundraise
There are lots of different ways you can raise money and have fun – running a marathon, baking cakes, opening your garden or ‘dressing down for dyslexia’.
Whether you want to join in with us or organise your own activities we would love to hear from you. Our team is here to help!
We can offer support and advice and send promotional materials such as leaflets, posters and collection tins.
If you need more information or would like to have a chat about your ideas, just give the Fundraising Team a call on 01252 792 400 or email fundraising@helenarkell.org.uk
Take part in a challenge
Charity challenges are a great way to achieve an incredible personal goal and support Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity.
These can also be brilliant teambuilding opportunities for groups of work colleagues whilst supporting a fantastic cause.
Apply for a Golden Bond place with Helen Arkell in the London Marathon or join our Royal Parks Half team.
We’ve partnered with Discover Adventure who are specialists in UK and worldwide trekking and cycling challenges. See the challenges below or head to their website to choose your big adventure!
If you would like to do some fundraising with the family, why not do an inflatable run? These are from 2.5 to 15 km and are open to everyone aged five and over. See what’s on near you here.
We would be incredibly grateful if you took part in a challenge for us.
Organise your own fundraising activity

• Dining for Dyslexia
• Cake sale/bake off
• Quiz
• Football tournament
• Dress down day at school/work
• Open gardens
