Description
These spelling cards have been both designed and extensively used by special needs teachers. The phonic cards were produced as a result of the noticeable lack of suitable age-appropriate learning materials available for older students and have since proved to be extremely popular.
The cards are intended initially to be used in 1-to-1 teaching, and small group withdrawal sessions. Later, the cards can be used for reinforcement activities such as matching and sequencing games, card games and home uses.
All the cards are photocopiable and are best photocopied onto thin card and cut into selected sets and card packs. We would encourage teachers to give students their own sets of cards which they can keep and play with at home.
