Trustee

Laura became a Trustee in November 2021.

Laura’s professional background for over 30 years is in HR within the financial services sector, specialising in HR transformational projects, benefits, pensions, payroll and wellbeing. She has developed strong governance expertise having been on a number of boards over the years; she originally qualified as a tax accountant. Laura is also a trained mental health first aider.

Laura has been an advocate of HADC for many years after her son was diagnosed with dyslexia following an assessment and she was instrumental in setting up the HADC support group. She is particularly keen to support and promote greater neurodiversity in business, and help to develop the bursary programme to support those less able to afford services.

Laura lives locally in Farnham and is married with four children. When she is not rushing around after them, she enjoys the theatre, films and trying to garden.
