Description

This book has been written primarily for those students (children and adults) whose reading has ground to a halt on these more difficult vowel sounds, and whose ability to spell them bears no relation to any grasp of phonics or ability to predict letter patterns. However, most children will enjoy the whacky rhymes and illustrations, and will benefit from the word-family groupings they introduce.

The purpose of the limericks is to introduce these patterns, through actually LEARNING the rhymes: the remaining exercises reinforce them.
