We are seeking a professional, enthusiastic and reliable team member to provide 1 to 1 support for a Year 6 pupil. The successful candidate will provide dyslexia support for a delightful child to enable her to access the mainstream curriculum and keep up with her peers, as well as enabling her to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and on her own. It will be essential to work closely with teachers, learning development staff and the child’s parents in following specialist recommendations.

Would suit an experienced or newly qualified Level 5 HADC (Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre) teacher but we welcome enquiries from all dyslexia-trained candidates.

If you are able to show initiative and have a committed and flexible approach, with the ability to relate to and engage with children we would be thrilled to hear from you.

Seaford College is recruiting for a permanent, full time or part time of 4 days a week, Learning Support Teacher to start September 2025. The role involves teaching students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, in our Learning Support department.

SpLD (Level 5 and higher), Helen Arkell and teaching qualifications are advantageous together with demonstrable experience of teaching Year 9 and above. This role is specifically aimed at working with students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, Autism and Specific Learning Difficulties, across the 11-18 age range.
