Specialist Teacher

Colette Pollock, Specialist Trained Dyslexia Teacher, Qualified Assessor and owner of STATS (Specialist Teaching, Assessment, Therapy and Support), is looking for a Specialist Teacher who is Level 5 and/or Level 7 qualified to join her. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified specialist teacher to build skills and confidence but equally suitable for experienced teachers!

Suitable candidates need to:

• Hold a Level 5 and/or Level 7 qualification
• Live reasonably locally to Farnham, Surrey
• Able to work on a subcontracted basis
• Be self-employed and manage own tax returns

More about the role:

• Newly qualified teachers can be mentored and advised on learning programs, resources, and plans if needed.
• Will be fully debriefed by Colette on any specialists assessments a pupil has had.
• You will have use of Colette’s cabin – a fully resourced ‘classroom’
• Pay is £40 per hour
• Hours open to negotiation, mostly teaching after school and/or Saturdays
