Bradfield College’s vibrant Learning Support Department is looking for a well-qualified SEN teacher to work with individual pupils from Year 9 to Year 13.

The successful candidate will offer one-to-one English and Humanities support to our SEN students, ensuring that they are fully equipped to fulfil their academic potential. You will deliver 16 lessons per week spread over 3, 4, or 5 days, (including a Monday and a Friday) during term time. Saturday morning is also an additional option. Details to be discussed at interview.

To succeed in this role, you will need a working knowledge of Special Educational Needs (qualifications are an advantage but not essential).

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated access arrangements coordinator to join our expanding individual needs department. This is a part -time, term time only position working 27.5 hours per week over 4 or 5 days.

At Claremont Fan Court School, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student is empowered to achieve their full potential. The Individual needs department is a cornerstone of this mission, working with a range of learners to provide tailored support.

As the access arrangements coordinator, you will oversee the entire process for managing access arrangements in line with JCQ regulations. This includes organising assessments, liaising with specialist assessors, and ensuring that all necessary paperwork and evidence is in place for applications to exam boards. You will work closely with teaching staff, the exams office, and external professionals to ensure that every student receives the appropriate adjustments and that all regulations are adhered to.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised and able to prioritise a diverse workload. A strong understanding of JCQ regulations relating to access arrangements would be advantageous, however training can be provided. An empathetic and understanding approach towards students with special educational needs is a must.

We seek to appoint from September 2025 an appropriately qualified, enthusiastic and energetic Head of Academic Mentoring to screen, identify and monitor the academic progress of girls who present with any additional learning needs, from gifted and talented to mild dyslexia, ADHD, ASD etc.

This is a high-profile post in a school which values its Academic Mentoring department and prides itself on unlocking the potential of all its students. The successful applicant will enjoy a serious position of responsibility and considerable influence on the framing of academic policy.

The Head of Academic Mentoring has a wide range of responsibilities and it is expected that he/she will: hold a Level 7 qualification in teaching and assessing learners with a Specific Learning Difficulties, demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of the concepts and skills of the subject, keep up-to-date with changes in the national curriculum and public examinations, keep up-to-date with changes and professional knowledge in relation to professional development/consultation in study skills, teaching methods for learning support, and Exam Board regulations for Special Need candidates.

The post offers either a chance to move into management for the first time as a Head of Department or an opportunity to gain further experience for an existing Head of Academic Mentoring. The person we seek will be a strong administrator, an excellent communicator with parents, students and colleagues and a firm believer in the enhancement of the education of all our students through a powerful introduction to Study and Thinking Skills strategies.

St Catherine’s School Bramley is looking to appoint a visiting self-employed professional in the following areas from September 2025. We seek to work collaboratively together to provide students with specific needs some additional specialist support:

• A Speech and Language Therapist to work with girls with communication and language difficulties e.g. autism, to assess their needs and deliver programmes to support them including social communication.

• A Specialist Teacher Assessor (who holds an APC) and/or an Educational Psychologist who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) able to accurately assess for dyslexia/SpLD and make recommendations for support.

As the director of individual needs, you will collaborate closely with academic and pastoral teams, parents, and external agencies, shaping the delivery of bespoke educational support and ensuring our pupils have the support and guidance to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree in a relevant discipline and a qualification related to teaching and assessing pupils with specific learning difficulties (Level 7). They will have experience teaching children with individual needs in a senior school setting, an understanding of specific difficulties and how they can be supported within in an individual lesson and in the classroom, as well as previous experience of leading and managing a team.
